My Latest Show
This weekend I installed a new exhibition at the Beans and Green Cafe in the nostalgic old town of Ipswich. Recently dubbed 'Hipswich'; this is an area filled with lots of hidden pockets of awesome, creative talent. This little venue is super cute, with bean bags out the front and organic offerings served with heart. My kind of place!
The Artworks I'm exhibiting here are from my 'Creating with Feeling' series; a collection of succinct square 8" X 8" mixed media Artworks on canvas.
This a wholly new series for me in that they are all small pieces with a lot more free, raw emotion in each piece. Rather than prettying them up to be all 'perfect', I have let it all hang out with a combination of edgy, scratchy line work, bold contrasts and spirit symbols in collage.
They were incredibly nourishing to create and felt like they emerged directly from my Intuitive Muse and onto the canvas.

This exhibition will be available for viewing at Beans and Greens Cafe from now until 8th April, 2017 @ 61 Limestone Street, Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. Once the show is over, any unsold pieces will go into my WEB SHOP, for those of you unable to make it in person.
