Feel free to browse below and learn more about how we can connect. I’d love to work with you ✌️

@ ARTUITION Studio. Clontarf, QLD, 4019

Felt-Sense Meets Imagination

ARTUITION Intuitive Art Therapy offers a unique approach to creativity and wellbeing, focussing on naturally arising felt-sense and imaginative imagery, alongside process-inspired explorations with art mediums.

Rather than a paint by numbers approach, we allow ideas, feelings, art and conversations to arise and ‘match’ these experiences with resonant art materials that feel right for us, thus highlighting our internal capacity and strengths.

I prioritise intuitive attunement to you/your child’s art-making, to identify and assist with emotional regulation awareness and personalised tools.

My Creative Story

How I came to be an Artist

I have loved creating as long as I can remember. As a highly sensitive, creative child with anxiety, engaging with drawing, painting, writing and dancing always felt cathartic to me.

I dreamed of continuing art after high-school, but followed encouragement for a ‘real’ job in education. However my love for creativity never waned and I passionately pursued my art career from my early 20’s.

Since then my studies in visual art, art therapy and education have all fed into my creative offerings.

At 42 I was diagnosed with ADHD. Finally my sensitivities, insatiable creativity and intuitive, felt-sense processing began to make sense. I could finally begin to thrive, with better understanding of my unique, creative brain and nervous system.

That’s why I’m especially empathetic and passionate about engaging creativity as a tool for emotional regulation with children, women and my fellow neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect.

I work with schools, early childhood services, art galleries, government sectors, environmental organisations, disability services, corporate clients and at festivals and events within South East Queensland and abroad.

My Art classes: fine print

My role as therapeutic artist is to share nourishing, artistic techniques and practices that compliment your existing health and wellbeing strategies.

After spending my adult years studying art, education and art therapy, I have developed inspiring ways to help people of all ages experience the innate wellbeing benefits of intuitive art and therapeutic creativity, via pro-active wellness strategies and gentle presence.

However my sessions are not clinical art therapy sessions, meaning I do not offer crisis support for acute mental, physical or emotional health conditions.

Furthermore, ARTUITION art therapy sessions and group classes do not replace qualified medical advice.

If you/your child have any existing mental, physical or emotional health conditions where inner body work could be triggering, please be discerning as to whether these offerings are right for you or your family at this time.

If you are unsure, please connect with your health practitioner for advice or drop me a line to check in.

Our safety, synergy and self-care is paramount.
