Ancient Inspiration

I recently watched an amazing TED talk on a woman who travelled throughout caves in Europe to decode humanity's earliest symbolic paintings and early texts. It is amazing to see that many of these shapes still occur in Artist's work today, including my own!

This is something that has inspired my greatly and I'd like to explore more in my work ... a connection to our ancient ancestors and ancient glyphs.
