Phoenix Embrace - Original Artwork

THE STORY:

When I started working on this, I thought it represented a new connection. However as I kept creating, I realised that the wing joins them together. Parts of myself were coming together, after going to the depths and being reborn through fire. The old tale of the phoenix being birthed from the ashes. The old and new coming together.
